Wedding Party Favors

Chris and I were married last month and life is slowly settling back into a routine and some normalcy (well what we consider normal)  I’m sure you noticed the great decrease in my posts over the past half a year and preparing/ planning for our wedding, was the reason why.  We did so much of the work ourselves, the decorating, party favors, invitations, programs, centerpieces, etc. It was a lot of work but we ended up having everything just as we had wished it to be.

I created cute little party favor wedding dress and tuxedos to hold Hershey nugget chocolate bars.  The wedding dress was created using the Dress Up framelits (sadly this is retired now 🙁 but currently still available on the Clearance Rack), with a small pocket made from a folded strip of cardstock adhered inside. The tuxedo was simply a strip of cardstock, with a slit cut at the top and the “flap” folded over to create the lapel on the tux.  Add a piece of white cardstock in behind, colour some Basic Pearls black with a Sharpie and you’re done 🙂

These went over well! Some people didn’t want to eat the chocolate for fear of damaging the party favor.

Beside the party favors, you can also see the name cards I created for each persons place setting.  These were made using My Digital Studio, a printer, label framelits/ Big Shot, Basic Rhinestones and Memento Black Ink sponged on the edges.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to be posting a bit more often now!
