Using DSP as a Focal Point

I am 4 days away from the craft show I am participating in and it’s feeling like crunch time.  For over 2 months now I have been getting up for work at 5:30am and not getting to bed until 11:00/ 11:30pm.   Talk about long days and not enough sleep.  Some days are hard to get work time in for my business when there is cooking/ cleaning/ baking to do and appt’s to be at with Chris.  Yet I am sure the work I do get accomplished will all be worth it in the end.   I have quite a bit of product lining my “shelves” and still in my mind I have so many more products I would like to make.  If not for this show, then I’ll work on getting them done for future shows.

Well I don’t want to bore you with my day to day so let’s move on to today’s card.  I don’t know about you but I love designer series paper.  It can help make a card in an instant.

For this card I used three strips of designer series paper from the Floral District pack and made the ends into a banner shape by using a square punch.  These strips really are the focal point and with these vibrant colours, the card really stands out.
