Up and Away Adventures

I’m sad that Sale-A-Bartion (SAB) is already over but all good things must come to an end…. so the saying goes. Needless to say, I am not going to allow that to stop me from sharing projects made with Sale-a-Bration items.

For instance, while today’s card used the exclusive Carried Away Designer Series Paper that had been an option for SAB, the stamp set featured is the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up and Away Framelits (currently available in a bundle in the Occasions catalogue for 10% off).

I decided to make the hot air balloon bold by die cutting it from Basic Black cardstock. Against the lighter card base and the colourful designer paper, it really stands out!

I added a strip of Whisper White cardstock to the cardfront as well and randomly stamped clouds in Smoky Slate cardstock.  The card is competed with a banner made from Watermelon Wonder cardstock and the ends trimmed into a banner shape. The sentiment was stamped using Archival Basic Black ink.

How easy was that to make?  Designer paper can certainly take up a lot of the work for you with the fun patterns available!

Now I don’t know if you recall but a few weeks ago I shared with you a Book Card.  Well  I finally had a chance to make a tutorial on how to make it.  Here you go!

I hope you have creating your  own book card.
