Another Monday has rolled around. I had big plans for the weekend to get work done in my stamp room….sigh….I guess you can tell that didn’t happen. I did manage to spend a couple hours organizing my filing cabinet and sorting through excess pre-cut materials from old projects. I still have a bit to go but almost have that completed. I also did manage to work on Chris’ Valentines card and gift so that is a good thing but I had hopes to get some classes videotaped but once Sunday afternoon rolled around I was feeling exhausted, run down and a cold coming on so I crawled into bed for a couple hours of rest. Let’s hope I can accomplish a lot this week although I am my schedule is full just about every night.
I love creating fun cards with punches and this card is perfect for a little boy. I made this for my nephew and hope he liked it. I used Chocolate Chip cardstock and tore the edge the one side to make it look like dirt. I needed to fill in the background so I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set to add an Evergreen forest.
There are many punches used to create this tractor, such as the Scallop Circle punch, the large tag punch, various circle punches, the Heart to Heart punch and the Word Window Punch.
Punches are a great way to spruce up any card and several of the punches I used are currently available to purchase on-line from the Clearance Rack. Simply visit my site, click the shop now button, log into your account (or create one) and then begin shopping.
