I have had ants in pants for the past week now to get in my stamp room and create a card. It has been over 3 weeks since I have created a card. How horrible is that! I wanted to make SOMETHING but wasn’t sure what. So I did the only thing I could think of…. I checked out the Less Is More blog to see what this week’s challenge was. Instantly an idea began forming in my head and I knew that some of those brand new stamp sets I purchased were going to get inky. Ahhhhh, bliss!
So the challenge was to create a card based on their blog header.
They added a note that their blog header is actually transparent in behind so I automatically decided that my card base would be created from a window sheet. This is my design for the challenge.
On Whisper White cardstock 4″ x 5 1/4″ I stamped my solid frame from the set Everything Eleanor in Crumb Cake ink. Next I used the From the Heart set and coloured in the words only on the stamp using a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and stamping over the Crumb Cake frame.
I created a mask for the frame, inked up my Music Notes Standard wheel in Jet Black Staz On ink and wheeled it across the bottom portion of my frame. I peeled away the mask and Voila!, no music notes over my stamped frame 🙂
On the window sheet I stamped the flourish from Everything Eleanor using Jet Black Staz On ink as well and added a couple medium sized Basic Rhinestones!
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
