Happy Monday Morning! I had such a busy weekend. It was go man go the whole time. Saturday I participated in the Zeal for Teal event which raises awareness for ovarian cancer and funds as well for The Sunflower Seeds team to donate to the Cancer Walk. Months of planning goes into this event and these women go all out to the smallest of details. The women who come to craft for the day really do have a fantastic time and I feel blessed to be asked back as a vendor each year.
I had a variety of items to sell from craft supplies that I no longer use, to retired Stampin’ Up! products, to handmade items. I ended up getting an order for more hair clips than what I had already completed but thankfully I had been planning on making some while there and had my supplies with me.
Chris asked me to make a sympathy card for his driver this weekend so Sunday while Chris was busy for a few minutes with other things I slipped down to the stamp room and whipped up this card for him. It was my version of a card I had seen done by another demo. I did change up the colours and layout just a bit to make it my own.
I love the sponging on this card and how it really creates a feel for the sky behind and around the flowers. When you are looking to fill in a bit of the white space on your creations this can be the perfect addition.
I really love the images in the Simply Soft Hostess set. I used it for this card so you can see how lovely it is. This set is only available for qualifying hostesses until the end of May. If you would like to order this set you can have a catalogue party with your friends or an in-home workshop (if you live close enough by) and when you have minimum $200.00 in party sales you will have the opportunity to purchase this with your free hostess dollars. With time running out, contact me today to book your party!
