Simple Flower

Happy Monday 🙂   I hope everyone had a good weekend.  I was busy the entire weekend but managed to do a little of everything… from baking to cleaning to pulling my race car engine and dropping in a new one to watching movies with my husband to going to church to stamping for an upcoming class!  Talk about non-stop.  I’m surprised I had time to sleep!

Tomorrow evening I am teaching my first ever shaker card class.  For so many years I have been afraid to create one and now that I have…. well, lets just say it is so much easier than I anticipated.  I think the new foam strips Stampin’ Up! has in the new catalogue helps a lot as  you don’t have to piece all the foam bits together and it is flexible so you can shape them around odd cut outs.  Stay tuned for a tutorial this week on one of the shaker cards I made!

Today I am sharing a simpler card featuring the Swirly Birds stamp set and the new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.  By now I’m sure you have seen oodles of projects featuring these new products.  I think it is a favourite because of the versatility of the images in the set.  This was one of the make n’takes at my Open House held earlier this month.

Featuring Peek-a-boo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and a hint of Emerald Envy, all new In-Colours, this card is bright and vibrant.

With a touch of Flirty Flamingo Ruched ribbon (truly nice ribbon to work with) and a bit of 2016-2018 In Colour Designer series paper, this card is complete.
