Saying Goodbye to Vintage Vogue

It’s hard to believe that the catalogue ends 2 days from now!  Where has the time gone?  I’ve gone over the list of retiring stamp sets and am sad that some favorites are retiring.  One of them is the Vintage Vogue set.  It has such a great feel to it and projects created with it always look great.

This is another one of the cards from the retired stamp set class.  It has a bold look using Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade.  Although I stamped my sentiment in Jet Black Staz On ink, several women in the class switched theirs up and stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink.

That is another stamp set I will miss, Thank You Kindly.  Four great ways of saying Thank You to someone 🙂

Did you notice that the ruffled ribbon is just tied in a bow but is not actually wrapped around the cardstock?  Simple bows that you attach with a glue dot can be much less daunting than tying a bow around the cardstock.  Do you remember when you were taught to create two bunny ears and wrap one around the other and through the loopto tie your shoelaces?  Well, that is essentially how you create the bow shown here.

Thanks for popping by and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
