If you are familiar with Stampin’ Up! already, then you know that Sale-A-Bration is the best time of the year! For every $60.00 purchase (before s/h and tax) you get to select one item FREE from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, and really…. who doesn’t like free!
Since Sale-A-Bration coincides with the release of the Occasions Catalogue, there are tons of great new products that are bound to make it to your ‘must have’ list! My poor bank account was having a hard time with the release of this catalogue 🙂 There are so many beautiful products and so many ideas floating around in my brain! I had to work hard to pare it down and lets just say that it wasn’t much of a pare down.
I am scheduling several classes over the next few months featuring many of these great new products. With so many wonderful products and bundles available, I felt each class should be focused on one main product or bundle at a time! To see the current list of classes scheduled, visit my website HERE!
Another item to note about Sale-A-Bration are the items at the back of the catalogue that are available only until February 15, 2016 (or while supplies last) One of those items is the stamp set, Sky is the Limit 141282 Wood Mount or 141349 Clear Mount (set of 8)
I have created a few cards already using this set and I won’t deny that I use Pinterest a lot to get ideas. Often I don’t have everything that someone else has used, so I simply modify to suit what I do have available. The card below is a CASE from Pinterest. It came together quite beautifully. It features only this stamp set, stamped on Watercolour paper. The card base is Whisper White and I used the English Garden designer paper (Item 138440) from the Annual Catalogue, as a layer under my Watercolour paper. A little sparkle never hurt anyone, so the card features a bit of Silver Glimmer paper and for some added embellishments, I used Crumb Cake buttons from the Neutrals pack. The new Archival Black Ink (140931) from the Occasions catalogue is also fantastic for stamping and watercolouring your images!
I hope you enjoyed todays post and I hope to see you back here soon!
