Quick and Easy – Valentine’s Balloon Notecard

I am all about quick and easy cards.  While I do like creating masterpieces, it’s nice to know that with a few simple products I can quickly whip up a batch up fun cards if need be.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this sweet card can be duplicated and mass produced in no time!

With a pack of Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes you’ll have 20 cards completed before you know it. For this card I used the fun, new stamp set Lift Me up. Begin by stamping your sentiment in the bottom right corner. I used Bermuda Bay for my card. Next stamp the love/heart image randomly over the card using Flirty Flamingo ink.

On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock, stamp your hot air balloon in Bermuda Bay ink and use the coordinating Up & Away Thinlits dies (which you may currently bundle with the stamp set to save 10%, item ID144712) to cut out the balloon. Pop this up on your cardfront using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon and tie it in a knot around the card. This card would be easy enough for your kids to make as well, with adult supervision of course 🙂

If you live in Canada you can purchase these products by popping over to my on-line store!
