Paper Pumpkin Boxes – Upcycled

Originally when I received my Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail, I would remove the contents and throw out the box to save space.  That was until I discovered others were upcycling the boxes.

This is the first box I created and I realized after that it would have appeared so much better if I had turned it inside out first! However, this still turned out beautifully.

I covered the outside edges and top of the box with patterned paper, created a pouch that I attached to the inside of the lid to hold envelopes and added a small pocket, also in the lid, to hold postage stamps!

I wanted to bling up the outside a bit more, so I created balloons and added a sentiment to reflect the purpose of the box  (birthday cards).

All that was left at that point was to fill it with cards and envelopes.

This really makes a quick and thoughtful gift for friends, co-workers and family members!  Simply brilliant 🙂
