Celebrate Amazing You Gift Box

I have been loving CASE’ing projects from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue!  I immediately was drawn to the pretty pink box shown on Page 17 of the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and decided to make my own with a few small changes.

Since I didn’t know the dimensions of the box shown in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, I made the box to a size of my choosing (which happens to be a square box).  Rather than using any other stamp set than the Amazing You stamp set, I stamped the sun burst and leave image around the outside edges.

I tied my Powder Pink ribbon around the box and finished it in a nice bow.

One of the best parts of this box is the use of the Celebrate You Thinlits available to earn free from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. (just a quick side note, we were informed that this die set will actually make it into the next Annual catalogue! woo hoo!).  If you don’t look closely at the box, you will just about miss the word “you” since it is white cardstock on white cardstock.  It is subtle but effective!

Have you tried CASE’ing any of the projects yet?

Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack

The joy of Sale-A-Bration is earning fun products FREE!  Rather than buy the entire Sweet Soiree bundle from the new Occasions catalogue, I decided to purchase the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit (145578) and since my order was large enough to select a free Sale-A-Bration item, I selected the Sweet Soiree Memories & More Card Pack.  I thought these two products along with the Silver Mini Gable Box and the new set Hold on to Hope would make a cute project!

The Gable boxes were smaller than I was imagining but absolutely perfect in size!  I love how they can hold the sweetest of gifts and since they are so small, they are easy to embellish without stressing out!

I used a patterned card from the Memories & More card pack for the front of the Gable Box, trimming it down to fit. Next I used one of the stunning pre-die cut flower images  and Vellum/ Silver leave images from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit and popped that up on my Gable Box.  Finally, I stamped the words “Hold on to Hope” in Rich Razzleberry ink from the new set Hold on to Hope, on Whisper White cardstock and trimmed the end in a banner shape.  I then attached this to the box as well.

Now isn’t that a quick and easy way to make a WOW project?
