How have I managed to allow a whole month to slip by without posting more!

I am really excited to say that my site is going to be getting a makeover!  Oh yes,  it will include all my work as well as my blog! I am very excited and looking forward to it.  Be sure to check back in 2 -3 weeks time and hopefully by then I will have everything loaded up.  My wonderful demo friend Cristena Bagne, from GC Blog Designs will be creating my new sites for me and I can’t wait to see what the final product will look like.

Since chalkboard seems to be the big thing lately I want to share with you a simple yet fun chalkboard card.  Using black cardstock, stamp your image in Versamark Ink, pour White Embossing Powder on and heat set.  Then take your Stampin’ Pastels and with a Sponge Dauber, smudge white chalk randomly over your black card front.

Add embellishments as you see fit, like I did here with the Butterfly Punch and a Rhinestone popped up by a Stampin’ Dimensional.  Then attach to your card base.

This is a super easy technique and so much fun!  Your turn!
