Memory Monday – Pedal Pusher

Happy Monday all! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.  We took our pup for a walk downtown both days to get him around people and socialized.  The next town over from me is a large tourist spot, so weekends in the summer are guaranteed to be busy there.  He did well but still has a ways to go.

While I was quite busy I did make time to get into the stamp room to create my Memory Monday project.  This card features the retired Sale-A-Bration set Pedal Pusher from a few years ago.

I stamped the images in Basic Black Archival ink and coloured it using Stampin’ Write markers and the retired Gold/ Silver Metallic pen. (The basket was added in Real Red ink)  I stamped the sentiment along the top of this piece also in the Archival black ink.  I adhered this to a Smoky Slate card stock layer using SNAIL Adhesive.

Next I ran a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Pool Party card stock through the Big Shot, using the retired World Traveler Embossing Folder. I added a band of retired Smoky Slate Chevron Ribbon around the embossed piece before adhering it to my Smoky Slate card base. (cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and scored at 4-1/4″)

Finally I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of my stamped piece that I already layered on some Smoky Slate card stock and attached to my card front.

If you noticed, I used retired ribbon, metallic marker, stamp set and embossing folder for this card.  Not bad for a trip down memory lane!
