Memory Monday – Crosses of Hope

Let’s take a walk back in time ….. My husband and I purchased a gold cross and chain to give to a young woman attending our church who is going through some difficult times.  As we wanted to give a card along with the gift, I headed up to my stamp room and dusted off my stamp set Crosses of Hope.   This was absolutely perfect to go with the cross necklace!

I used the retiring Specialty Designer Series Paper – Affectionately Yours and tied a bow of Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon around it. I attached this layer using SNAIL adhesive to my Whisper White Note Card.

On a separate piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped in Versamark the cross and sentiment, poured my Copper Embossing Powder on and heat set it.

This was then popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Talk about a quick and easy card!

I love how the Blushing Bride Ribbon softens the appearance of the copper embossing.  I hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane, using the Crosses of Hope stamp set!
