Interlocking Card

One day closer to Friday….we’ll get there.  It’s been a busy but good week.

Do you love the look of today’s card?  It is sooo much fun and super easy as well.

Cut your card base at 4 1/4 x 11″.  Score along 11″ side at 2 3/4″ in from each end and fold

This creates what is called a Gate Fold.

When you cut your die cuts you will need to create one with the centre cut out (so use a larger die and a smaller die to create this) and then cut out a solid piece of cardstock using the same die you used to cut out the inside of the ‘window’ piece.

Make sure that when you attach the ‘window’ piece to the left side of your card that if it has curves to keep it off centred to the right of the card so your solid piece will slide in and out of easily when opening and closing the card.  Hopefully that made sense.  If not, I will be creating a YouTube video to show these steps.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
