Sometimes it is best not to mess with a good thing. I truly enjoy seeing Brian King’s creations. He has a very crisp and clean style. I found a card of his on Pinterest and it was perfect for CASE’ing and I thought my stamp club ladies would enjoy creating it as well. I made some very minor changes for my card.
Where Brian used plain circle cut outs only, I used the Stitched Shape Framelits to die cut my Smoky Slate circle. I find it helps pull your attention to the word “hooray”
He used the sentiment “so proud of you” and I changed mine to “Happy Birthday”
The last changes I made were layering my matte directly to my card base, where it appears that Brian used Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise up this layer and using White Craft ink for my Hooray rather than Heat Embossing with White Embossing Powder.
This card would be great for a young boy’s birthday!
Did you know that the Foxy Friends bundle is retiring? (not the products themselves but rather the opportunity to purchase it in a bundle for 10% off!)
