Greeting Card Gift Card Holder

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a good weekend.  We popped over to the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival on Saturday.  My niece Sarah joined us for a day out and we had a great time.  I intended to take photos but as usual I was caught up in enjoying the day and forgot to take even one single photo.  Oh well, I’ll have to rely on everyone else to remind me of all the fun things we did.

Well enough chitter chatter.. time to inspire you 🙂

Front of Card

Today’s card was a make n’take for a workshop I did in early March for my dear friend Sandra.  The card itself is absolutely beautiful and then you open it up and inside is a gift card holder.  How cool is that!  I used the set Bordering on Romance which can be found in the Occasions Mini.  This mini catalogue is still available until April 31st so you still have some time to order it.  We used Watercolour Paper, Aqua Painters and Classic Stamp Pads to colour our flowers.  So pretty…

Side of Card

This step inside the card can be created by cutting a piece of cardstock 5″ x 8″ and scoring in the centre and about 1 1/4″ on either side of centre.  Add a fun piece of patterned paper to the front of the ‘step’ with Sticky Strip along the outside edges only and you will be able to slide a gift card between the step and the patterned paper.

Here is one more view so you can see the patterned paper better.

I hope all that made sense to you.

Thanks for popping by and see you tomorrow!
