Friday Focus – Cool Treats Bundle

I am so excited to share with you some amazing projects from some fabulous demonstrators featuring the Cool Treats Bundle.  The Cool Treats stamp set and Frozen Treats Framelit dies are another set of products that will no longer be available to purchase in a bundle at a 10% discount as of May 31st!

In the summer, my husband and I organize a party at our home for family and some friends with a bbq, mini golf tournament and a bonfire.  I already have visions in my head of creating fun invitations for the party using this bundle!

I have some fun cards to share with you from a few lovely ladies.  I inquired about sharing their projects and they all kindly said yes!

The first design I’m sharing with you comes from Stephanie Pike.  I am loving the bright colours she used for her frozen treats. Rather than stamping them directly on her card front, she stamped on scrap cardstock and die cut using the framelits.  She then layered them in a neat and tidy stagger pattern.  The die cuts along with the patterned paper, yummy Sprinkles Embellishments and bold sentiment make for a truly eye catching card!

Next, we have a super yummy card by Amy O’Neill. If my husband saw this card he would not be surprised that I love it!  He would tell you that I can sniff out ice cream a mile away LOL.  I love the simplicity of the layout and at the same time how this card just pops with all the colour and scoop upon scoop of ice cream! With a few embellishments like the sequins and linen thread and a strip of scalloped cardstock, this card is delicious!

Next let’s check out Michelle Long’s ice cream sundae card! You know the saying ‘less is more’, well it sure is working for this card.  I love the clean layout and the large polka dot embossing…. one of my favs!  The sentiments in the Cool Treats set are a great size and I love the bold cursive writing mixed in with the more classic, boxy font.  Michelle did not add any embellishments outside of the die cut spoon, cherry and sprinkles which is great because your eye is drawn to that sundae!

Now, how about something a bit different?  Like this fun tri-fold card by Julie Kettlewell. Kick your card design up a notch with this cut “fancy fold” card. Layer upon layer of designer series paper and ice cream treats…. yum, yum, yum!  I really like how Julie carried the Stitched Shape circles throughout her card.  Your eye is immediately drawn to the fun treats layered on them.

Get this bundle and save 10% now!  You’ll be on your way to creating some super fun cards and projects, just like the ones created by these lovely ladies.
