Friday Focus – Confetti Celebration

Welcome back to Friday Focus.  This week we are checking out some great designs using the Confetti Celebration stamp set. Whether you need to make a card for a child, a teen, an adult, male or female, this set is so versatile which its images and sentiments, you can create the perfect card for anyone on your birthday list.

Let’s take a quick look at some of these ideas.  First up is Christine Miller with this star/ balloon card. With the colour combination and sentiments she used I can see this being a great card for a pre-teen to teenage boy. The Metallic Thread may be the only embellishment but with the heat embossing and popping of the star, this card has plenty of depth and masculinity to it.

Now if you scour images on the internet for this set, you will find plenty of shaker cards.  This stamp set really works so well for creating fun shaker cards and that is what I am sharing with you next.  This card was created by Stephanie Pletscher and features bold colours and super cute star confetti in the shaker window.  Now if you look closely, you’ll see the circle window is not just a window, but a balloon!  Stephanie cleverly added a balloon ‘nib end’  with a bow and then scribbled in some strings attached to the balloon. Simple, clever, pretty! In these colours, this card is great for women, young and old!

Finally we have another masculine card by Debbie Henderson. This card is a step outside of your standard fold. Debbie used a gate fold for her design and created a simple belly band to wrap around the card to hold it shut. The stamping continues to the inside of the card as well adding to the surprises.

While this set doesn’t have a slew of images to select from, the few it has are all you need to create cards for all ages!
