Oh I feel so clever hahahha!  Framing…..You!  Let’s see if you can figure this out.

I love creating quick and easy door prizes for workshops.  I have found over the years that not everyone who attends a stamping workshop will end up liking to stamp, yet most people will still enter their name into the draw for a door prize.  So what happens when they get a gift that is solely related to hands-on stamping?  They may not be sure what to do with it or even want it.  I like to give gifts that I know the guest will appreciate and use.

For this reason, one of my favorite door prizes is giving a set of hand stamped cards.

This beautiful set of four cards was created and packaged with four envelopes in a clear card box.  This is such a great gift giving idea and also inexpensive yet… priceless.

I was looking to do a tiny bit of colouring and also incorporate the new, upcoming Four Frames stamp set from the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue.  I selected the frame with small flowers so that I could colour these in.  The image is stamped with Staz-On Black Ink on Natural Ivory cardstock.  I used Stampin’ Write Markers to colour my image and then used one of my favorite sentiment sets, Teeny Tiny Wishes, to stamp my two sentiments, Thank you and Just for You inside the frame.

The frame is punched out using the coordinting punch Decorative Label and then Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back to get it ready to pop up on my card front.

The card itself is quite simple and classy.  I ran the Natural Ivory 4″ x 5 1/4″ card front through the Big Shot using the Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder.  Using the  Crumb Cake ink pad and a sponge, I gently distressed the edges of my cardfront.  I then added some Basic Rhinestones for the right touch of bling.

I simply mounted the card front to my 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Natural Ivory card base and added my framed sentiment to the card.

So did you figure out the clever meaning of my title?
