My photography skills did not do this page justice. Wow, how bad can my photo taking get! This page is actually quite beautiful in real life and everything is straight even though this photo makes it look like I layered things crooked.
This is a 12 x 12 page using Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip cardstock (and a smidge of Vanilla)
The long strip of Melon Mambo was run through the Big Shot machine 3 times to cover the entire piece with embossing. Since the embossing folder is not large enough to emboss the entire piece in one step it left narrow strips of flat areas. This is where I placed the 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain ribbon. I stamped a few images of the elegant design in the SAB set Bliss onto the base of the page using Melon Mambo ink. I added two Chocolate Chip mattes to place photos on.
Of course you need some embellishments, so I added the now retired Vanilla Hodgepodge hardware with the title “Bliss” stamped in the frame. To make the card more frilly and light, I added several butterflies cut out using the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die and to some of these I added Basic Pearls.
Really a lovely page but as I said my photography did not do it justice.
