Where did the weekend go? It seems like time simply disappears on us. Saturday was spent running errands, tidying up around the house and changing over the tires on the cars to the winter tires. My poor biceps sure felt it the next day but I am going to count it as a workout LOL Sunday we went to church and in the afternoon we took it easy and played games. I am so thankful for the opportunities I have to relax and enjoy family time. I hope you were able to find some time to relax as well.
On to today’s project….My stamp club ladies loved creating this sweet flower purse back in November. It is such a gorgeous little purse and although it looks like it is difficult to make, it is actually quite easy.
The wonderful thing about these flower purses is that you can use any Designer Series Paper to create fun, unique purses. Of course we used the Simply Scored tool to score the box to the correct dimensions. I love how easy it is to use this product. Projects come together so quickly with this tool. Wondering how the petals were made….? The Ornament Punch. How cool is that!
In all honesty, these aren’t quite purses but that is the easiest name to call them. There is a little box with 5/8″ Satin Ribbon attached as a handle in behind the flower.
