I purchased a box of clear Christmas ornaments from a local craft store, oh…. around 5 years ago and they have been sitting in one of my cupboards ever since. I have been wanting to ‘dress’ them up a bit but wanted to do them just right.
Well I finally pulled them out of the cupboard the other day and sat down to play with a few of them.
These were so easy to ‘alter’ and I had these three ornaments completed in about 7-8 minutes.
You begin with Pledge Future Floor Finish, pour some in the ornament, swirl around really well (use Saran Wrap on the top to hold liquid in the ornament) and then pour excess back in container.
Pour a bunch of glitter into the ornament (once again, cover top with Saran Wrap), shake about until inside of ornament is covered and then pour excess glitter back into container.
Wipe the outside of the top and insert your cap.
I didn’t want to leave them all plain on the outside so I added a retired Stampin’ Up! rub-on to the outside. I have to admit, because the ornament is round, it was a bit tricky applying the rub-on.
Enjoy and have fun creating these!
