Double Embossed Background – Video Tutorial

Well sadly the Canada Day long weekend is over.  We had a bit of rain on Saturday but the rest of the weekend was gorgeous.  We had some friends that we don’t often see, over for a visit Sunday afternoon. It was great to catch up and just sit and relax.

Originally we were planning to go for a drive on Monday but my husband knew I was trying to get my stamp room organized and some projects completed, so we stayed home! This means I’ll have some things to share with you again!  Woo hoo! (always hard getting in the groove again after holidays)

In May I created a card for my stamp club that focused on dry embossing, as well as heat embossing to create a fun background.  I don’t know if there is a name for it so I am calling it a Double Embossed background.

The technique begins off similar to the Bokeh Background but with some changes.  I have created a video tutorial to help explain it, as it is easier to understand this way!

Don’t forget to add a sentiment to the inside to finish off your card, or at least add a matte of Whisper White on the inside if you use a dark card stock base! (not having a light inside to write on is a pet peeve of my husbands LOL)

Thank you so much for checking out my video tutorial.  My stamp club ladies really liked this technique and said they planned to use it again and again for their card designs!
