Christmas Easel Card

I think the last time I created an easel card was last Christmas….. and yet they are so easy to create, so I think I need to do these more often.

This is one of the cards we made at the Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack.  The stamp set used was Snow Swirled and the cardstocks/ papers used were, Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, and Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series paper.

The card base is 4 1/4 x 11 and is scored at 5 1/2″ and also at 2 1/2 – 2 3/4″.  This second score line is where you will fold to create your easel.  You then just cut another piece of cardstock 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 to use as your card front and it only attaches to the bottom scored section of the card base.

Decorate the card as you please and you have an easel card.  There are other variations of the easel card but they all work off the same basis.

Play, have fun and enjoy creating your easel card.
