Fall Savings – 50% off September Paper Pumpkin

Ever heard of Paper Pumpkin?  Whether you are crafty or believe you aren’t but would like to try, Paper Pumpkin is a fantastic kit that arrives in the mail monthly.  Each month the box is filled with supplies and instructions to create a fun pre-planned project.  All you need are scissors and adhesive.

I love how these kits allow anyone from any skill level to be able to complete some awesome projects.

If you need to skip a month, you can simply log into  your account before the 10th of each month and click skip. If you decide after a month that it isn’t your cup of tea, simply log into your account and click cancel.  You can’t get much easier than this.

One of the reasons I love the kit is that it allows me to whip up a card or gift (depending on the kit) when I’m in a pinch and need something fast.  I don’t have to think about what I am going to create, as all of that has already been done for me. I simply need to stamp and assemble.

If you have never subscribed before and sign up between now and September 10th, you’ll receive the September kit at 50% off the regular price ($27.00/ month plus tax).  Simply go to Paper Pumpkin via this link and enter promo code HALFOFF0917.

I’ve heard that the September kit is a gorgeous fall themed kit!

Sweets Holder using the June Paper Pumpkin kit

Here we are all waiting for the July Paper Pumpkin to ship to us and I’m posting an alternate project from the June Paper Pumpkin kit. ¬†It arrived just before I left for holidays in June and it took another week after I returned before I had a chance to sit down and create with it.

While I did create several alternate projects, I will share just this one with you. ¬†The other designs I only share with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers! It’s a bonus for them as a thank you for subscribing through me ūüôā

The first glance of the watermelon skin patterned envelopes and I knew that I wanted to die cut a Wood Crate from it! In addition to that the Watermelon Seed tissue paper was perfect to line the inside of the wood crate. It makes me think of a picnic!

To complete the crate I added a half moon for the word sweet and attached it with one of those fun Lemon Lime Twist clothes pins.

So far simple, right? Well how about creating a couple cute cards to sit inside the crate? I took one of the note cards in the kit and cut in half. They were 4-7/8″ long so I had to make sure to cut 1/16″ smaller than 2.5″. I cut one of the watercolour wash banners in half to allow me a card front for each card and stamped my sentiments on them.

The mini notes now fit perfectly inside the crate! Do you agree that the colours in this kit are so fresh and summery? I love how these items just pop and grab your attention.
