Friday Focus – Coffee Cafe Bundle

Well after battling the coding on my blog this morning to get my sidebar to come back into position, as I noticed it disappeared to the bottom post section of my page, I am finally ready to get down to business! (I just love HTML coding…. insert sarcasm) The only good thing about this, is that I learn new things, mostly by trial and error, but at least I’m learning ūüôā

Now we can get to the fun stuff – stamping!

This weeks Friday Focus featured product is the Coffee Cafe bundle. ¬†Yes, you may recall I posted a card I created yesterday, but when there are so many awesome ideas for projects to create using this bundle, it’s hard to not share more of them.

First up are these great projects by Laura Kant. ¬†She created a fun gift bag and matching greeting card. ¬†Seriously… oh my word, these are great. ¬†Did you notice how she also combined the Everyday Jars Framelits into her bag design. ¬†There are two elements on her card that I absolutely love: The first being the colouring of the coffee cup. ¬†Talk about great shading with some simple watercolouring. The second, the way she ruffled up the ribbon

Next we have this gem from Lisa Pretto! This woman is incredible and so positive. I follow her on Instagram and not only do I enjoy her fantastic projects but the positive notes she posts. ¬†She truly inspires me and reminds me why stamping and sharing my passion is such a blessing in my life. ¬†Don’t you just love those transparent cup tops? I can’t wait to design my cups with the tops in Vellum cardstock like Lisa has done. ¬†It makes them look all the more real! I can see blizzards, Iced Caps, Ice Lattes, etc created using this style cup.

Finally, we have this perfect packaging by Karen Robinson. She created this sweet mini treat bags from the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper and added some simple decoration using the Corrugated Elements, 3/8″ Classic Weave Ribbon and of course the Coffee Cafe Bundle for the label. ¬†Wouldn’t it be fun to create coffee bean treat bags like this for your coffee loving friends? Fill them with a new coffee bean flavour for them to try out?

Share some love and be sure to leave a comment here for the projects these women have made!  They all did an amazing job.

Have a great weekend and check back often for more great inspiration.

Friday Focus – Tranquil Tulips

Hello Friday! Is everyone ready for the weekend? ¬†I won’t lie, I sure am! Tomorrow we are visiting our breeder to work on some show training for our pup. ¬†He’s starting a bit late so hopefully he isn’t too stubborn! He is 10 months old and not so little anymore. The joys of having Great Danes as your fur babies ūüôā

By now you likely know that here on my blog on Friday’s it is ‘Friday Focus’ and this weeks featured product is the beautiful Hostess exclusive set, Tranquil Tulips. ¬†Hold on because I have some gorgeous projects to share from some talented women this week and I believe you’ll be wishing to earn this set yourself.

First we have this stunning card from Conni Richter. ¬†The layout is so simple but with the vibrant colours used for the tulips and the white space above the tulips, it seems to draw your eyes to those pretty tulips….WOW!

Next up is Stefanie Steichele with the sweet gift bag. She really shows how you can create a very simple gift bag and dress it up in a very pretty, elegant way. ¬†If you look a bit closer, you’ll notice that she cut the flowers and layered them to give more depth and dimension. ¬†They really stand out. I love this!

Finally we have this lovely card, created by Nadine Koller. (I think I need to take some photography lessons from Nadine! LOL) How sweet are these little cards? And the simple hand drawn line around the edges…. I really wish I had this set myself to play with. These cards are so beautiful! I love Nadine’s colour combination, so happy but not “in your face”, if that makes sense.

Haven’t these ladies done an incredible job! I hope you’ll leave a comment and show these women some blog love for these wonderful creations featuring the Tranquil Tulips set.

Thank you to these ladies for allowing me to share their stunning creations!
