Have you ever CASE’d a card from the Stampin’ Up! catalogue? I don’t just mean copying a card exactly but using elements or layouts.
With today’s card, I CASE’d the layout of a card shown on page 106 of the Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.
I selected the Lift Me Up bundle (yet again, can you tell I love using it?), along with the Carried Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) to pull this card together.
I used Mint Macaron for my card base as the colour coordinates well with the DSP. With a Real Red ink pad I carefully inked up the top of the hot air balloon and then I used a Chocolate Chip marker to colour in the basket. I stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and die cut using the Up & Away framelits.
After stamping my sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a small rectangle of Whisper White cardstock, I adhered my layers to my card base and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the balloon. While you may have missed it, all the way at the top of the card, I wrapped Linen Thread around the card and tied in a bow.
Thanks for popping by to see what I’ve been working on!
