Calendar Message Board

Something I love about Stampin’ Up! products is the ability to create quick and easy gifts.  Transform a clear acrylic picture holder from the dollar store with some patterned paper, cardstock, adhesive, a mini calendar and some mini note cards!  Keep this handy by your phone or on your office desk.

Start with you acrylic picture frame – I like the 5″ x 7″ frames myself but you could select a 4″ x 6″ if you find the 5″ x 7″ too large.  Cut your solid cardstock to the size frame you selected and cut your patterned paper 1/4″ smaller on both the width and length to leave a nice matte.

The pocket needs to be created to suit the notecards that you use.  I found mini lined notes at the dollar store that were perfect for this project. For the pocket and the calendar I used Sticky Strip (Tear & Tape) to hold them to the acrylic frame!

The mini calendars come in a few different sizes as well so you will need to cut the matte for this 1/4″ larger on width and length as well.

Boy my descriptions sure aren’t helping you today, are they! LOL

I hope you get the gist of the project from the pictures to be able to re-create your own 🙂

    • Hi Cherie, I used Sticky Strip (or the new one available from Stampin’ Up! called Tear & Tape) It provides a good strong hold for the calendar and the box that holds the note cards!

  1. Margaret! What a great idea. I’ve done similar calendars in my classes similar to an easel card. This makes more sense! Thanks for my next project.
