Bordering On Romance

I am so totally thrilled with this card. Let me re-phrase a little, I am so totally thrilled with my watercolouring on this card.  I am not afraid to admit that I am not very good at watercolouring but I think with this card I may have some people fooled LOL.

I made this card for my sister for her birthday.  I used the set Bordering on Romance from the Occasions Mini catalogue and the set Teeny Tiny Wishes for my sentiment.

I love the soft colours and based my selection on the colours in the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper pack.  The majority of the products I used were from the new Occasions Mini.

Did you see that I stamped my sentiment on the Pear Pizzaz Seam Binding?  I totally love this and I was extremely pleased with how clear it turned out.  I did some fancy tucking on the end of the ribbon to give it a tag look and then added a Basic Rhinestone to jazz it up a bit.

Overall, I love this card.  If there were any products you saw here that you would like to order please feel free to contact me to order them.

  1. Toot your horn, girl!! That is some A.MA.ZING. watercolouring!!! One of these days you’ll have to do a tutorial with your tricks for all of us who try and end up with a big, hot mess! The whole card is absolutely gorgeous, I’m sure your sister will love it! I’m loving those new edge dies and small embossing folders – so beautiful, they make the cards look so fancy 🙂 And I LOVE how you stamped the sentiment on the seam binding – genius! And the way you tucked the end of the ribbon really makes it look so professional. Beautiful job, M!
