Well I have returned from my holidays and I am ready to tackle the world.
I can’t recall ever having made pinwheels as a child. Who knew they were so easy? To start, you must begin with a square piece of paper. Being as I am a visual/ hands-on learner, it is also easier for me to provide instructions using diagrams, so I found this great PDF file with the instructions
Creating a pinwheel with designer series paper is fun as you get a nice design all around but on top of that, the paper is not too thick for curling over.
With today’s pretty project, which was one of our Convention 2011 make n’ takes, the pinwheel is dressed up with some beautiful Cherry Cobbler die cut doilies from the Perfect Pennants BigZ die. Layered over this are More Mustard petals punched from the Blossom Petals XL Punch and topped off with a Vintage Brad.
How quick, easy and beautiful is this?
Now, quickly onto some reminders – the Summer Holiday Mini ends tomorrow so this is your last chance to order from it. You can order on-line directly from my store or call me/ e-mail me with your order.
I also have one opening available in my upcoming Stamper’s 8 club beginning in September. If you live in the area of Fergus, Ontario and wish to join the club please let me know as soon as possible.
