Birthday Boy

One might look at this card and think it is for a younger male but no, leave it to me to make it for my brother who is in his 40’s already LOL

With nicer weather just starting to happen I just couldn’t resist bright, fun colours. Colours used on this 3″ x 6″ card are Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Old Olive.  Seeing as it is for a guy I kept the card simple and rather than adding embellishments, I added a punched scalloped edge along the bottom of the image.

The images were stamped from the set Funky Four and the sentiment, believe it or not, is from the set, Messages for Mom.

I used my markers to colour in the flowers and mushrooms to that I could use more than one colour.

So simple, so fun, so hoping Canada Post gets it to him in a timely manner seeing as his birthday was last week.

Later this week I’ll show you a card I made for my sisters 20th wedding anniversary which is…. today.  Of course I am never on time. LOL

If you would like to order any of the products I used in todays project you may order them on-line via my site HERE!
