I have to say we are very fortunate to still see some leaves on some trees and to have somewhat milder temperatures still. Especially when you consider that New York was hit with 60-80cm of snow over the weekend. So I have decided that before the snow comes I need to share with you some fall cards so be prepared to see these in the next week or so instead of Christmas cards.
Several of the cards I will be sharing are cards I created at last year’s Regionals and just never got around to photographing.
My first share is a very simple card and yet it has such an elegant feel. The card base is Old Olive and the images are stamped in Old Olive using the Day of Gratitude set. The ribbon is 5/8″ Old Olive Grosgrain tied in a simple knot.
I love how simple and soft the sentiment appears. It is stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out using the Decorative Label punch. Then 2 medium sized pearls were added and a couple Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back pops the sentiment up nicely on the cardfront.
Did I mention I stamped the Very Vanilla envelope to match the card? This is such a quick way to dress up the envelope and make it a matching set.
Do you love this set just as much as I do? Contact me to order one for yourself!
