Hi! Fun Coffee Card

I do love the Coffee Cafe bundle and enjoy creating fun cards with it. Not only do we have the stamps and framelits but the cute corrugated tags as well.

I had to join the craze of creating a cup with a lid used on Iced Caps. Since I’m not a Starbucks person and do not understand how you order drinks from them, I won’t even hazard to guess at what name product would be put in this style cup!

You may wonder how I managed to cut such a perfectly rectangular straw – good question :). It is one of the framelits in the Coffee Cups Framelits die set.  Makes for quick and easy straws.

I do like clean and simple cards as I know when I first began stamping, I was overwhelmed and looked for designs that were easy to copy.

While this card does have a bit of die cutting with the Coffee Cafe bundle and the Stitched Shapes Framelits, the rest of the card is quite simple in the layers and a touch of embellishments to pull the card together. The designer series paper is the Coffee Break DSP, then those cute Corrugated Elements, the lovely Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon, some Linen Thread and of course Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the ‘HI’.

Remember when you see a card you like but don’t have all the same products on hand, substitute for items you do have in your stash that coordinate. (or you can always hop on over to my store and place an order for these awesome items!) ūüôā

Gift Packaging

Here in Southwestern Ontario the weather is turning cool and the leaves are falling off the trees quickly.  It is days like this that I start to look more towards Christmas time and the various gifts I can make for family and friends.

Stampin’ Up! definitely helps me create fun gift packaging for unique stocking stuffers.  If you flip through the Holiday catalogue you will find so many fantastic products that you can very quickly and easily miss the Acetate Card Boxes (144628) on page 13.  They almost disappear into the page with the Peace on Earth project in one of the cases.

Todays little creation features these super fun boxes.  Use them to package several cards as a gift for a friend or use them to create fun little gifts.  Again I just had to use several of the fabulous products available in the catalogue.

As you can see I used the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper (144623), the Merry Little Christmas Memories & More Card Pack (144638) and the Foil Snowflakes (144642). Combine these with the Acetate Card Box and it is so easy to put together this cute package.

Now you may be wondering what I put inside? There is hot chocolate and marshmallows and a cute hand stamped Christmas tag.  You can always step it up and add a candy cane and perhaps a card, or some chocolates.  Really though, you can put anything (that will fit), inside these clear boxes.  Since they come bare and clear, you can decorate them any way you want and for any occasion!

Now how fun are these?
