An Attempt at a Kitty Cat

I received my sweet box filled with creativity, in the mail last week…. that’s right – my Paper Pumpkin kit.   March’s kit is filled with cute bags to stamp into bunnies and little note cards to stamp bunny faces on.

Now each month I like to use the contents of the kit to create alternate projects.  I really wanted to make a kitty cat and today’s card is my attempt at creating one using the images in the stamp set from March’s Paper Pumpkin kit!

I used the Kraft Notecards and Envelopes, along with some A Little Foxy Designer Series paper for my card.  I used the 1-3/4″ dia circle punch to create the cat’s head from Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the ears using the Archival Basic Gray ink that was in the kit and fussy cut them out. I then adhered them in behind the stamped kitty face.  He just seemed a bit too bare, so I added the bow, which I stamped in Real Red ink and fussy cut!

The Dapper Denim bakers twine was also in the kit and was a cute little touch to wrap around the card front.  I die cut the sentiment using the smallest banner die from the Bunch of Banners framelits.

If you haven’t subscribed to Paper Pumpkin yet, now is seriously a great time!  Purchase a 3-month subscription on sale until March 31st for just $74.00.
