50th Anniversary – Old and New

A couple in our church is celebrating their Golden Anniversary this week!  What a truly remarkable occasion to celebrate.  They are super sweet and we adore them, as we do the rest of our church family.

I decided to use a mixture of retired products along with some new products for this special card.

I inked up my images from Timeless Textures in Smoky Slate ink, stamped off once and stamped randomly on my card front.  I punched the edge of my Gold Foil sheet using the retired Scalloped Trim Border Punch, while leaving the opposite edge straight.

I die cut using Gold Foil again, the numbers and banner tag from the Large Numbers Framelits dies.  I then stamped the ‘th’ from the Number of Years stamp set using Jet Black Staz On ink. I learned quickly that due to the design of this particular banner die, you must first die cut and then stamp!

I adhered these elements to my stamped Whisper White card front and raised this panel on my thick Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

It was a rather quick and easy card but perfect for this wonderful celebration of life and love!
