20th Anniversary

I am kinda stunned that my sister has just celebrated her 20th Wedding Anniversary.  Mentally I am still 20 years old so this just doesn’t seem right to me.  Some days when milestones like this come along, I wonder when my mind will start maturing past 20.  Oh well, perhaps it will help me live longer.

So I couldn’t let this event go by without sending her a card to celebrate.

I have been working on keeping things clean and simple so I came up with this clean, fresh card.  I used the stamp sets, Vintage Vogue and Teeny Tiny Wishes and the colours are Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, and Wild Wasabi on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut out each of the flowers, popped a few up with Dimensionals and punched out some Basic Black circles for the centres.  On the small flowers I coloured the black circles in using Smooch Moonlight Pearlized Accent.

The stamped card front is layered on Basic Black ink and adhered to a Cherry Cobbler card base.  I hope my sister and brother-in-law enjoy the card.

Just a quick FYI, I e-mailed out June’s newsletter earlier this week.  To receive my newsletters you must fill out the sign up form at the top left of the website, so if you haven’t done it already you may wish to do so now.

  1. Beautiful card! Love the colour combination. What a great way to use that border stamp ~ I may have to ‘scraplift’ that idea 🙂
